It’s official. MatadorTV has been launched.
The tagline is “Filtering the best travel video on the web”, but it will also feature original content produced specifically for MatadorTV.

Pico Iyer pretty much perfected the response to the question, “why do we travel?”, so I won’t bother getting much into that. I will, though, discuss why we don’t travel.
As a disclaimer, I’ll start by saying that I drink. It greases up the wheels of a gathering and yes, it’s hard to imagine that some of the funnest times in my life could have happened without alcohol.
He multi-tasked while we talked (well, he talked). He was cooking up fish sticks and mashed potatoes for the kids. Through my tinny laptop speakers I could hear the oil splattering and the food being chopped.
