When I'm here, I hate the cemented routine of work-gym-supper-work, but when I'm away I miss the tiny comforts. I think eventually you just learn to create new routines, no matter if you're travelling or not. YES! Besides after leaving home (after 31 years), this is the next biggest change of my life. But I do definitely think there are some routines that will be missed. I think it's just like anything else in life, it's a balancing act. I love change and I love new experiences, but I couldn't constantly be on the road, on the move, like some people can. I'm starting to think that it is necessary to be able to call a place home, a base to always come back to. Not to say that this is a base for life, but at least for some amount of time.
